Position Summary

GC2IT is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong CAD design and knowledge management experience to produce, control, and maintain high-quality engineering drawings and site documentation supporting a complex, geographically distributed mission environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CAD-based engineering drawings and layouts, including equipment rooms, rack elevations, cabling, power distribution, and required network diagrams.
  • Prepare deployment-ready drawing packages with appropriate title blocks, revision history, and adherence to program drafting standards.
  • Convert site surveys and field notes into accurate as-built drawings using photographs, measurements, and field engineering feedback.
  • Build and maintain structured knowledge repositories for drawings, build packages, installation guides, and troubleshooting references.
  • Define and apply metadata and tagging standards so engineering documents remain searchable, traceable, and linked to configuration baselines and changes.
  • Support systems engineering activities for physical deployments, including space, power, cooling, and cabling considerations, and participate in technical and deployment readiness reviews.
  • Maintain CAD templates and documentation quality checklists to ensure consistent standards, revision control, and audit-ready document traceability across deployments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering, deployment engineering, or documentation engineering with significant CAD responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with at least one CAD tool such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, Revit, or SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrated experience producing equipment room layouts, rack elevations, cabling/power schematics, and site as-built documentation.
  • Strong knowledge management and documentation control skills, including structured repositories and document workflows across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data center or telecommunications room documentation, including MDF/IDF layouts, patch panels, and fiber/copper standards.
  • Familiarity with configuration management practices and controlled document libraries, including revisioning, baselines, and audits.
  • Experience using documentation platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint and integrating diagrams/drawings with knowledge bases.
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA labeling standards and structured cabling best practices.

Position Summary

GC2IT is seeking a Counterintelligence Operations IT Manager to support DIA enterprise-level IT capabilities for CI functional management, operational coordination, deconfliction, performance assessment, and mission support. The position requires 5–10 years of specific experience initiating, supervising, and/or developing requirements from project inception through conclusion for complex programs.

This position combines CI subject-matter expertise with technical requirements management and enterprise IT integration. The successful candidate will help translate CI mission requirements into dashboards, analytical tools, catalogs, coordination platforms, and other functional-management solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise-level IT solutions for CI functional management.
  • Support enterprise coordination and deconfliction activities.
  • Participate in Government, stakeholder, and vendor meetings to identify mission and functional-management IT requirements.
  • Create, publish, and manage Functional Requirement Documents.
  • Support development of analytical tools, dashboards, catalogs, and coordination platforms.
  • Document meeting notes, capability requirements, product backlogs, and future requirements.
  • Develop proof of concept for CI functional-management solutions.
  • Review policies and directives affecting CI IT capabilities.
  • Develop surveys, reports, and formal IT and business management documentation.
  • Conduct post-implementation performance and production analysis.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations concerning mission-critical CI challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant professional experience in a Counterintelligence career field.
  • Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following:
    • CI investigations
    • CI operations
    • Collection
    • Analysis
    • Production
    • Functional services
    • Mission support
  • Experience supporting complex or highly complex programs.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis, and recommendations.

  • Credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent.
  • State or Federal law-enforcement experience.
